Richard (Chad) Haydel Jr, M.H.A. is a founding member and chief executive officer of Haydel Memorial Hospice. He has a combined 30 years of clinical and healthcare management experience.

Richard (Chad) Haydel Jr, M.H.A. is a founding member and chief executive officer of Haydel Memorial Hospice. He has a combined 30 years of clinical and healthcare management experience. Prior to the hospice venture, Mr. Haydel helped to co-develop assisted living and senior care properties in Louisiana and Mississippi. In 1999, he co-founded Monier, Haydel, & Associates, L.L.C., a health care operational and administrative consulting firm for large medical practices and clinics throughout Southeast Louisiana. Currently, Mr. Haydel serves as Practice Administrator for Haydel Medical & Surgical Clinic, a large family medicine and general surgery multi-specialty practice in Houma, Louisiana. His direct experience includes large group physician practice administration, organizational and strategic planning, business office operations, marketing and public relations, human resource management, physician recruitment and practice expansion, financial management, strategic planning and quality improvement.

Mr. Haydel holds a Master of Healthcare Administration (M.H.A.) degree from Tulane University School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Science degree in Cardiopulmonary Science from L.S.U. Medical Center at New Orleans. He is a member of the American Academy of Healthcare Executives, an affiliate of the Medical Group Management Association and a member of both the National and Louisiana / Mississippi Hospice and Palliative Care Organizations. He also previously served as a board member for the Terrebonne Chamber of Commerce, the American Heart Association, the Terrebonne Foundation for the Mentally Disabled, and Maria Immacolata Catholic School Advisory Committee.

Chad was born and raised in Houma, LA is proud to be able to return home and give back to a community that means so much to him. His decision to own and operate a truly local hospice agency has been very rewarding and his professional goal is to be recognized as the premier hospice provider of choice in the Bayou Regions of Southeast Louisiana.
