Keith attended Nicholls State University and received certification as an EMT. He began his career in healthcare serving as office manager/ patient care technician for Renaissance Rehabilitation in their Morgan City office. While there he oversaw the day to day operations of the office and also assisted the OT with his functional rehab clients. Keith then took a position with Pulmonary Homecare as their marketing director. While in this position the company expanded from one to three offices and he took part in managing their Morgan City office. Currently Keith is the marketing director/ community liaison for HL Haydel Memorial Hospice. This entails forming and maintaining relationships with various referral sources, as well as, taking part in community based opportunities to spread his knowledge of hospice care. Keith is a former member of the Houma Rotary Club and currently a member of the Senior Networking Organization of the Bayou Region.

Keith is a lifelong resident of St. Mary Parish. He is married to his wife, Kristi, and together they have three children; Gabrielle, Jenna, and Collin. When asked by people how he is able to work for hospice his response is “Hospice is not a job it’s a calling.”
